The Good Way 2021

The Good Way 2021

We're thrilled to announce the 2021 release of The Good Way Sumac IPA. In addition to the beer itself, we're excited to invite you to join us and our friends Mike and Anna of Minobideg Learning in a pair of delicious opportunities to celebrate this collaboration while learning, tasting and experiencing Anishinabeg culture.

While cans of The Good Way are available now, on Friday December 17th you can further participate in the following ways:

  1. Join us at the brewery for the Minobideg Dinner, an intimate three-course beer pairing dinner at the brewery focused on learning and dialogue, featuring Anishinabeg-inspired dishes and traditional ingrdients.

  2. Order a grab-and-go Smoked Venison sandwich prepared by Chef Anna Cote for pick-up at the brewery and pair it with a 6-pack of The Good Way.

ABOUT THE GOOD WAY

The Good Way project started in 2019 as a year long collaboration between The Birch Bite (Anna's former restaurant) and Dominion City, which culminated with a sold-out beer pairing dinner at the Ottawa Art Gallery featuring Indigenous-inspired dishes. The project raised nearly $10,000 for the Kitigan Zibi Canoe & Kayak Club, which among other things, helps bridge the divide between Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people through community-based reconciliation.

Our friend and professional photographer Blair Gable documented the project in a short film.
