For this year’s International Women’s Day, our Head Brewer Brittany turned to the women of Bellwoods to help choose the perfect beer to encapsulate the day. After some spirited discussion, the vote was unanimous: a Brown Ale.
Traditional in style, yet bold and complex in flavour, this Brown Ale delivers a rich tapestry of nutty, biscuity, and crisp notes, with hints of brown molasses, freshly baked bread, subtle dark dried fruit, and a touch of burnt sugar.
