Description: We’ve been buying from Agricafé, a Bolivia-based exporter by the Rodriguez family, since 2020. Each year we bring in a couple coffees from their “Sol de La Mañana” program. Structured like a “coffee university”, neighbouring producers are taken through a 7-year program aimed at building resilient and thriving farms. Last Ocober, I spent a couple weeks in Bolivia visiting farms, seeing the Agricafé processing mills, and cupping dozens and dozens of coffees. Gregorio was one of the producers I’d met during my stay, and his coffee was also one that stood out amongst the rest on the cupping table. Expect a sweet and balanced cup, offering up the lush sweetness of melon and the subtle zest of spiced orange.
